New Ventures and Large Purchases 02/18/2012
Expanding our options for sales soon, changes coming mid-March. Also made another huge 45 purchase, tons of interesting stuff, working hard to get it organized, listed, and online as fast as we can. Always feel like we can never have too many 45's to sell, just translating all those 45's into active listings that is the challenge. We are working as hard and fast as we can to bring all of them to our customers! Add Comment Unlisted Popcorn Mod 45 02/11/2012
Kenny Walker "Sweet Sugar Cane" Entree 105, going into the store tomorrow on eBay. Nice production work on this one by Buck Ram, with those perfect popcorn touches in the breaks. Check it out! New Videos On YouTube 02/08/2012
Posted over 25 new videos on YouTube today, with plans to upload over 25 more tomorrow. Lots of varied stuff, and all of it currently for sale on eBay. Please leave us a comment here or on YouTube if you enjoy what you hear! Super Bowl And Lists 02/05/2012
Spending today getting ready for the Super Bowl and getting new stuff ready for eBay. Watched the Chelsea/Man U match, great stuff, and a good result for those chasing the Champions League. Hoping to increase our actual listings this coming week, at least 10 listings everyday. Fine line between Rockabilly and Bopper 02/01/2012
Recently, through our purchases, we have had tons of 50s and 60s rockabilly and country boppers. Another sub-genre appears to be Hillbilly bop from the late 40s through the early 50s. Trying to put the 45's into the correct spots, sometimes is quite the the task. Personally, we base it on the beat, instrumentation, and to some extent lyrical content. Tons of this stuff coming down the pipeline, check it out! Back To What Matters 01/31/2012
Too much time spent lately on everything but records, getting back to recording and listing! Some interesting things going on later today, check them out! In The World Of Twitter 01/29/2012
Finally got everything set up to begin using Twitter on a regular basis. Currently debating the manner which we will use Facebook. To have a personal page or not to have a personal page.. I think the finesse needed to juggle all of these social media sites, and to make them compliment each other, is an art all in itself. Hopefully our artwork will resemble Rembrandt more than Jackson Pollack. Spent most the day in the Crypt of Records Past, trying to work through boxes to reduce and organize a little. If we only had a free month of time, we might actually get somewhere! We both feel like we dropped all the boxes we searched and moved on our heads. Bed will be calling early today! The Wide Expanse Of Popcorn 01/27/2012
As we delve further and further into all things Popcorn, it seems the 45's can come from almost any genre. Just listed on Ebay a prime example, Bing Day's 45 on Mercury. The A-Side is the well known "I Can't Help It" a nice rockabilly number, but the flip is a smoky, exotic example of popcorn. "Mama's Place" oozes cool from every pore, with nice musical flourishes intertwined with daddy-o lyrics. We have found popcorn everywhere, country flips, big band flips, vocalists flips...it seems to be everywhere! Auction and Store Listings 01/26/2012
Spent the day today getting listings ready for both our Ebay Store and an Ebay auction. Also planning on taking the big leap into the world of Facebook soon, will post the link to our page when it is created. | AuthorThe World Of Citrine ArchivesCategories |
